About the Role
SAP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic SAP Enterprise Architects team within the new SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will develop a comprehensive enterprise architecture model for our customers aligning with their enterprise goals, collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner, and lead activities such as guiding customers through their cloud journey, providing enterprise architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles, and acting as the Transformation Partner for the CIO or other CxO, driving architecture effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise architecture models for customers, aligning with their enterprise goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner, leading activities such as guiding customers through their cloud journey and providing enterprise architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles.
- Act as the Transformation Partner for the CIO or other CxO, driving architecture effectiveness and ensuring secure, reliable, and flexible cloud environments for mission-critical processes.
- Support adoption, identifying and mitigating technical adoption risks, and aligning customers and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP adoption, and promoting SAP best practices.
- Provide customer context to all teams, enhancing customer proximity and experience, and articulating the value of the designed target architecture and possible intermediate/transition steps.
Requirements
- 5+ years in customer experience roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
- Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, and experience with BTP components and services such as application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI capabilities.
- S/4HANA technical or/and SAP S/4HANA application/functional knowledge/experience.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English) at the senior management within an IT team and across business functions.
- Mindset for Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.
