Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant or Social and Educational Assistant to join our team at the Charlemagne Motor Education Institute in Ballan-Miré. This institute provides specialized care and support to 60 young individuals with motor disabilities, aged 4 to 20.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to compensate for the lack of autonomy in young people with motor disabilities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver preventive, curative, or palliative care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient well-being.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information exchange for the follow-up of individuals, promoting seamless care coordination.

Work Environment

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with the flexibility to work in day care or residential care settings based on staffing needs.

Contract and Compensation

We offer a 1-month full-time contract, starting as soon as possible, with a salary based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should be a holder of a degree in healthcare assistance or social and educational assistance, with strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills. Experience with respiratory and neurological diseases is preferred. A passion for working with young people and children with disabilities is essential.
