Position Overview
Veolia Group is at the forefront of ecological transformation, striving to be the benchmark in renewable resource production in France. We provide a comprehensive suite of innovative solutions throughout the waste management cycle, encompassing collection, transformation, and valorization into materials and energy.
We are currently looking for a Technician for Energy Recovery Operations at our incineration facility in Limoges, a pivotal site in the waste management sector, responsible for processing substantial volumes of waste annually.
- Manage overhead cranes equipped with grapples to supply the plant's furnaces for waste incineration
- Monitor operational efficiency and suggest improvements
- Operate technical installations in accordance with operational guidelines, conduct routine inspections, and perform cleaning tasks
- Document occurrences and meter readings in the shift log
- Initiate maintenance requests through the maintenance management system
- Track operational metrics, evaluate outcomes, and identify any issues
- Execute specific tasks as directed by the operations director or maintenance supervisor to ensure seamless plant functionality
- Adhere to QHSE protocols, particularly those related to processes and emergency procedures
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a technical or scientific qualification or a Vocational Baccalaureate in electrotechnics or industrial maintenance. Skills in electrotechnics and relevant certifications are advantageous, along with knowledge in thermal and mechanical disciplines. Previous experience in industrial settings or shift work is preferred.
You should be meticulous, analytical, and enjoy collaborating within a team.
