About this Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Security Researcher / Pentester to join our R&D Security team in Massy, France. This team will focus on Mobile Radio Access security and work closely with the Development Units, which is responsible for Product Security of the Ericsson RAN Product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform 'white box' pentests to identify advanced vulnerabilities in Ericsson products and propose mitigations.
  • Conduct pentest audits for selected Ericsson RAN products or other Ericsson solutions.
  • Engage in security research on topics related to Ericsson products, technologies, or protocols.
  • Analyze, reproduce, and respond to customer findings and questions.
  • Present research work and findings through presentations and articles.
  • Collaborate with VA testers to create new test cases, utilize new tools, and perform basic pentest activities.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools and share knowledge with other Ericsson pentesters.
  • Write detailed reports and present findings to internal stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
  • MSc level in a technical subject area or equivalent knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in 'white box' penetration testing assignments and security research.
  • Proficiency in using various test tools for penetration testing activities.
  • Strong programming skills in bash, Linux commands, Python, GO, and Erlang.
  • Experience working in an R&D organization community.
  • Agile, forward-thinking, innovative mindset.
  • Ability to learn and pentest new products, solutions, environments, and programming languages.
  • Personal values aligned with Ericsson's core values: Respect, Professionalism, Perseverance, and Integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills for presentations.
  • Ability to work in a global organization with teams spread across the world.
  • Good English language skills in writing and conversation, with additional French language skills a plus.
  • OSWE certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
