Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in Paris. The successful candidate will provide commercial and legal counselling for SYSTRA Canada and US business units, working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel to ensure that legal support and policy are consistently and effectively deployed across the business.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and analysis on a wide range of issues, including contractual and litigation matters arising in the US or Canada.
- Support in contractual negotiations with clients to ensure business requirements are met.
- Identify legal risks and provide mitigation advice.
- Draft legal notices and lead the support towards management of dispute cases.
- Provide legal training to Systra operational teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in law, specializing in Contracts law, Business law, or Arbitration. They will possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to foresee and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. A team player with excellent communication skills, both within internal teams and when dealing with external stakeholders, is required.
