A well-established iGaming firm is expanding and is in search of a Lead Legal and Compliance Strategist.
Reporting directly to the Director of Legal and Compliance, your role will encompass delivering a complete range of support to the organization, ensuring that it achieves its goals while upholding the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards by staying updated on regulatory changes; systematically developing, revising, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals; providing effective counsel, support, and training throughout the organization; managing regulatory reporting processes and coordinating with authorities.
- Licensing Management: Secure and maintain gaming licenses across various jurisdictions by overseeing license applications, managing regulatory relationships, and ensuring compliance with licensing conditions and obligations.
- Contractual Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate compliant agreements with service providers and other vendors while maintaining an organized contract management system.
- Customer Relations: Update, implement, monitor, and enforce compliant customer terms and conditions, and provide guidance on customer complaints and disputes.
- General Responsibilities: Address a variety of topics related to the company's operations, serve as a resource for and collaborate closely with stakeholders within the organization, and manage external legal services, as well as both paper and electronic filing and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- A qualified attorney with experience in the iGaming sector. Candidates from related fields will also be considered.
- A proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a positive, 'can-do' mindset.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with a strong focus on quality and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to devise innovative solutions.
