Key Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function is a vital part of the Risk and Compliance organization, tasked with the establishment and maintenance of the company's comprehensive risk management and governance framework. This team ensures that risk management practices are executed in compliance with regulatory standards and expectations. The team is also responsible for aggregating and reporting on significant risk management activities to Senior Management and Committees.
The ERM department focuses on formalizing the Risk taxonomy, identifying risks, and assessing materiality. The results are integral to the Risk Management Framework and strategic processes such as Risk Appetite, SREP, ICAAP/ILAAP, Stress Testing, and Regulatory Disclosures.

Role Overview:
The Enterprise Risk Management Specialist will report directly to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and collaborate closely with Senior Enterprise Risk Managers to achieve deliverables.
The role encompasses supporting the enterprise-wide risk identification and aggregation program, which includes defining identification criteria, utilizing an emerging risk scanner, identifying the risk universe, and establishing a quantitative framework for assessing risks (strategic, financial, and non-financial). Additionally, the role involves aggregation and reporting based on the established risk taxonomy.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector, preferably in risk management or auditing of risk management functions.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape and risk environment within the financial sector.
- Familiarity with foundational risk management frameworks, including both financial and non-financial risks.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex risk assessments to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in French is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or Risk Management (e.g., FRM, COSO).
- Relevant experience in Risk Management roles, particularly in Risk Identification and Taxonomy activities.
