Role Overview
As an intern under the guidance of the Energy and Raw Materials Purchasing Group Manager, you will assist the purchasing team in executing their initiatives and may also take the lead on your own projects. This position offers the opportunity to work within an industrial setting, engaging with R&D topics, while benefiting from expert supervision. By the conclusion of your internship, you will have acquired significant experience in the procurement of raw materials and energy.
Candidate Profile
You are currently pursuing an Engineering or Master's degree (such as from a business school or university) and ideally have some familiarity with purchasing processes. You are motivated to develop or enhance your procurement skills. Furthermore, if you possess qualities such as independence, proactivity, dynamism, rigor, flexibility, and efficiency; if you have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy collaborative work, and are proficient in English, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay updated on market trends related to energy and raw materials
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Conduct international tenders, including analysis, negotiation, and supplier selection
- Qualify new raw materials and suppliers
- Contribute to the tracking of purchasing and production KPIs, as well as consumption forecasts
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D, production, laboratories, and finance
- Improve internal purchasing processes
- Utilize the SAP system following training
