Backend Software Engineer

IC Resources is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our client, a global leader in AudioVisual technology, in Paris.

This is a hybrid role that involves working closely with the R&D Software engineering teams to design and develop backend web functions and platforms for their range of market-leading SW and HW products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend web functions using Node and modern web stack development expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with web and embedded products
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using es6, React, Redux, and TypeScript
  • Ensure seamless integration with development, versioning, and continuous integration tools (npm, webpack, babel, git)
  • Implement responsive design and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
  • Desirable: Real-time software experience with WebSocket and client/server synchronization for embedded products or systems
