Job Purpose:We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful execution of assigned project packages by coordinating all disciplines involved, including engineering, procurement, inspection, testing, transport, etc.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily administration of projects
- Ensure that engineering and requisitioning, as well as procurement, subcontracting, expediting, and associated testing, operations, and logistics activities are developed according to schedule, man/hours, equipment, and materials budget, as well as contractual specifications
- Provide timely reporting to Project Management and operational supervisor, following up on activity, critical deviations, and potential risks
- Enforce QHSES corporate policies within areas of responsibility
- Coordinate engineering and requisitioning activities with procurement and operations
- Ensure that vendors' documents are approved, commented, and returned to vendors on time
- Handle preparation of documents required by contract and authorities
- Oversee the availability of all information and data needed for activities within areas of responsibility
- Contribute to the definition of equipment lists
- BS in Engineering or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in engineering or related fields
- 2-5 years of experience as a project engineer
- Ability to think and act independently on relatively complex projects and issues
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Good level of English (written & oral)
