Overview:

The Lead User Interface Engineer is tasked with crafting exceptional user interfaces that facilitate connectivity, device management, and data handling, spanning from device sensors to user-facing applications. This role involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, including embedded software, connectivity intelligence, data integration, data modeling, REST APIs, and user interface design and implementation. The engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user-centered design and development process for delivering high-quality features. A strong vision for developing optimal applications and services is essential, along with the ability to advocate for superior user experiences while integrating feedback from fellow engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with stakeholders to design user-centric features.
  2. Develop efficient, secure, and thoroughly tested end-user functionalities.
  3. Design, implement, and sustain the user interface architecture and experience APIs.
  4. Evaluate user interaction flows, data structures, architectural proposals, and their implementations.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in developing web applications.
  3. Extensive proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and associated toolchains and runtime environments.
  4. Advanced skills in a component-based library or framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
  5. Strong foundational programming skills (understanding of complexity, asynchronous and functional programming).
  6. Significant experience with continuous integration, deployment tools, and debugging techniques.
  7. Commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Willingness to learn new technologies.
  9. Ability to travel periodically for team engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Experience in creating or maintaining open-source libraries.
  3. Familiarity with configuring AWS services.
