Job Overview

As a Cloud Migration Architect, you will engage with clients and partners, steering them through the intricate phases of planning, preparing, and executing substantial transformation and migration initiatives tailored to diverse customer requirements. Your role will involve fostering and sustaining robust relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to define their cloud migration and transformation strategies.

On a daily basis, you will collaborate with clients to evaluate their readiness for cloud adoption. You will assist them in establishing goals, objectives, and desired business outcomes. Your responsibility will include developing and aligning a cloud vision in conjunction with relevant stakeholders to achieve these outcomes. You will identify solutions that enable customers, partners, or internal teams to navigate both technical and organizational hurdles. Furthermore, you will work alongside Subject Matter Experts to facilitate pre-sales activities.

This position is client-facing and necessitates the ability to travel for projects within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale migration projects, with practical expertise in various domains such as migration strategy formulation, business case development, application portfolio evaluation, migration process design, tool implementation, execution, and operational integration.
  • Demonstrated success as a migration or modernization expert in client-facing roles.
  • Strategic thinking capability regarding business, product, and technical elements in an enterprise context.
  • Strong background in project management and agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, PMP, ACP, Prince 2, etc.).
  • Proficient communication skills in both French and English.
  • Experience in migrating workloads from on-premises environments to Cloud Platforms.
  • Practical experience with migration and Application Portfolio Discovery tools such as CloudEndure, ModelizeIT, Device42, and MGN.
  • Familiarity with the AWS platform and its various services related to computing, storage, networking, and migration.
  • Experience in direct collaboration with clients and partners.
  • Previous consulting experience in a client-facing capacity.
