Job Summary:

As an Electrical Studies Manager at TE Connectivity, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Technology Roadmap for Termination Technology applied to DIN RAIL Solutions. You will lead the Engineering Strategy for Termination Technology, aligned with the overarching strategy of DIN RAIL Solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) for DIN RAIL Solutions, focusing on key AFG. You will also drive Leap projects, develop Simulation (mechanical, thermal, electrical) competencies in the team, and work closely with PMO to ensure proper execution of NPI. Furthermore, you will create a collaboration platform with the global DIN RAIL Team according to the SV footprint. You will also be responsible for design responsibilities, including creating and maintaining fit, form & function of parts, working within TEOA-E, and ensuring product environmental compliance according to TE policies. You will provide engineering support to Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality, take engineering responsibility for development, industrialization, and release of new products, and develop a design mindset for sustainability. You will interact and collaborate at various levels with Product Managers, Customers & Suppliers, drive DFMEA to ensure that product performance is preserved throughout the product life cycle, maintain engineering data integrity within TE, and represent industry standards bodies where relevant. You will also identify local partners to develop new technologies, lead the local team, and report to DIN RAIL Eng Mgr. You will support the Saint Priest Legal Representative with specific tasks in the building, focusing on EHS, develop a succession plan for Team Lead Advanced Engineering, and develop a skillset matrix to support the Engineering strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, product development, or related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, product development processes, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with simulation tools and methodologies
