The Role: Finance Data Manager
We are currently undergoing a significant transformation, implementing SAP across the Group. This presents an exciting opportunity to join our central team as a Finance Data Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all finance-related master data within the SAP system, including cost centers, project codes, and chart of accounts.
- Collaborate closely with finance functions (Management Control, Tax & Customs, Accounting, Internal Control) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Lead projects related to finance master data management, working in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the Finance Data Owner, defining and enforcing data governance policies, ensuring data quality, and managing repositories.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Global Data Excellence team regarding financial data.
- Build strong relationships with finance operational staff across the Group.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, COE, IT, and data teams to enhance master data management practices.
Your Profile:
- Possess a solid understanding of financial processes and principles.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in data management and its impact on business operations.
- Have experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, along with proficient Excel skills.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
Education:
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Audit.
Experience:
3-5 years of proven experience in accounting, audit, or controlling.
