Job Summary:

The Armed Violence Reduction Policy and Development Specialist will support the operational development of our comprehensive approach to Armed Violence Reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a business development action plan and a set of offers in Comprehensive Approach to Armed Violence Reduction.
  • Mobilize new financial resources under the sectorial scope and strategy.
  • Foster the development of relationships with donors and approach new ones.
  • Contribute to and co-steer the conception of major projects.

Requirements:

  • University Degree, preferably Master's in Conflict/Security issues, International Development, International Relations or other relevant subject.
  • Significant experience in designing strategy and forging partnerships and/or policies.
  • Ability to design projects and write successful proposals for a broad range of institutional donors.

Working Conditions:

  • Type of contract: CDI / open-ended contract.
  • Additional benefits: luncheon vouchers and health insurance.
  • Working hours: Executive / 'Cadre' status (34 paid vacation days and 13 days of rest).
