We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel IT Central Reservation Systems Architect to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Hotel IT team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-performance systems that can process tens of thousands of requests per second and return the highest level of accuracy in the fastest response time.
Our SaaS platforms are designed to serve millions of users who are seeking information and reservations from tens of thousands of hotels offering millions of hotel rooms around the world. Utilizing our proven ability to build and deploy mission-critical software for the global travel industry, we are creating the next generation of technology solutions for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Deliver Solutions: You will be responsible for the design of solutions, at the platform or application level, coordinating with all the necessary teams to reach an agreement, ensuring solution consistency cross-projects, cross-applications, ensuring all gaps are identified and dependencies tracked.
- Lead Studies and Analyze Requirements: You will lead studies, analyze cross-functional requirements, and other cross-organization, cross-functional solutions by interacting with all stakeholders (including architects, technical and functional experts, delivery teams).
- Understand Business Drivers and Impact: You will understand how main business drivers may impact on your area, assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans.
- Communicate Complex Information: You will communicate complex information to diverse audiences, including customers, functional and technical profiles.
- Document and Present Solutions: You will document and present solution recommendations to all stakeholders during solution review forums, with the ability to explain complex technical information in simple ways.
- Handover Solutions to R&D Teams: You will handover the solution, when validated, to the R&D teams when entering development phase.
- Previous Experience: You will have previous experience in a similar role (Functional architect, Solution Definition Manager, designing solutions in an architectural/development role).
- Language Skills: You will have full professional proficiency in English, with French being a plus.
- Industry Experience: Experience in Amadeus hospitality or the hospitality industry is a strong plus.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: You will have adaptability and flexibility, problem-solving, analytical skills.
- Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills to interact with all the stakeholders, including the customers, to communicate complex information.
- Autonomy and Leadership: You will have the ability to work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, and lead projects or contribute to broad cross-functional projects.
