We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to join our team at Eramet. As a key member of our Industrial Processes and Risks Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our operations and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process safety standards and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential hazards to develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with site teams and project managers to integrate process safety into operational routines and procedures.
- Participate in safety assessments and reviews to validate proposed solutions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industrial processes and technologies to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that process safety is integrated into all aspects of our operations.
- 10+ years of experience in process safety, industrial risks, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (essential) and Spanish (desirable).
