Medical Science Liaison - Ouest Parisien/ Normandie

Overview: As a Medical Science Liaison at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's Medical Affairs strategies for marketed products and/or development compounds. You will leverage your clinical knowledge and field expertise to identify and communicate business and scientific trends in the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide accurate and fair-balanced scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals, through individual interviews or scientific meetings.
  2. Support the development of regional medical plans and ensure their implementation and monitoring.
  3. Identify and communicate key insights to internal colleagues and stakeholders, and provide a field medical interface in the context of EAP and compassionate use programs.
  4. Engage with healthcare professionals, students, and associations to build awareness and proper use of Alnylam's products.
  5. Participate in regional events, national and international congresses, and provide scientific support and attendance at conferences and meetings.
  6. Ensure non-promotional communication with healthcare professionals, respecting the principles of separation of promotional and non-promotional activities.
  7. Report adverse events according to company policy and maintain a level of expertise in the evolving scientific/therapeutic area and in competitor medicines.

Qualifications:

  1. Scientific degree required with diploma equivalent to masters level (baccalauréat +5).
  2. Experience in Medical Affairs and MSL roles, with a strong understanding of rare and prevalent diseases development.
  3. Experience in cardiology area is a plus.
  4. Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule, and provide public presentations.
