About the Role:
At AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch), we're seeking a skilled Storage Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Storage Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing storage solutions for our customers. You will work closely with our product and field teams to enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy data workloads on AWS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design best-in-class storage infrastructure solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.
Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.
Work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.
Thought Leadership - Evangelize and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
Requirements:
Previous experience in designing/building/maintaining Storage environments
Previous experience with application, server, and network security
Highly technical and analytical, with significant experience of software development and/or IT and storage and networking implementation including security and compliance
Advisory/consulting experience, including some experience with global accounts and large commercial customers.
Business fluent English and French
Proven experience with IT network architectures, including layers and protocols (Ethernet, BGP, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, VPN, VLAN...)
Experience with design, implementation, and maintenance of data center networking environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience architecting/operating cloud solutions
Experience with enterprise IT storage architectures and how they integrate into large-scale production applications
Understanding of AWS Storage Services such as S3, Glacier, Elastic File System (EFS), AWS Storage Gateway (SGW), and Snowball. Use of AWS in production a plus.
Understands the role that networking plays in complex storage architectures
Technical enablement experience through content creation and speaking engagements · Scripting experience (Powershell, Python, bash, etc.)
Bachelors or equivalent work experience
Comfortable speaking to large audiences
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
Technical Communication Skills; able to bridge the gap between business outcomes and technical requirements.
Familiarity with AI/ML and how Storage technology is leveraged for modern data solutions.
