About the Role

The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Grenoble is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team. As a Medical Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting the medical department with administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the medical team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist with patient care, including taking medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, and providing general support during consultations.
  • Manage the department's inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical secretary or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
