We are seeking an experienced FC Manager to lead our Fulfillment Centers in Madrid and Antwerp, with a base location in Coudray-Montceaux, France. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, quality, punctuality, efficiency, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics Service Provider Management: Manage relationships and act as a liaison between logistics service providers and zooplus.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and manage supplier performance, KPIs, and supplier reports, leading corrective actions as needed.
- Weekly Business Reviews: Conduct weekly business reviews and GEMBA walks, including follow-up on identified issues.
- Service Level and Cost Analysis: Analyze service levels and cost, driving continuous improvement of warehouse processes in collaboration with logistics service providers.
- Project Leadership: Support and lead projects related to operations, linked to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Close cooperation with headquarters and cross-functional teams across Europe.
- Quality Standards: Drive zooplus quality expectations and standards together with external Logistics-Service-Providers.
- Material Flow Processes: Control and improve material flow processes proactively, reacting in a timely manner for issue resolution.
- Inventory Management: Responsible for inventory levels of consumables, optimizing usage and monitoring delivery timeliness.
- Strategic Development: Help drive the strategic development of the Fulfillment Team.
- Capacity Increase Projects: Collaborate with service providers and Engineering teams to investigate further capacity increase projects.
- Business Reviews: Contribute to monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Subject-Matter Expert: End-to-end responsibility as Subject-Matter Expert for FC network related processes, including developing process standards, implementing them, requesting and supporting design metrics, KPIs, tools, and dashboards, training other FC managers on processes, and leading processes related to regular metrics reviews and benchmarking with all FC managers.
- FC Leadership: Take over responsibility for more than one FC.
- Reporting: Direct reporting to the Regional Manager Fulfillment.
- Experience: At least 5 years of working experience in 3rd party logistics on provider and/or customer side (e-commerce/B2C preferred) or experience leading as site leader of a warehouse.
- Skills: Analytical, process-oriented, and data-driven, Excel proficient, knowledge of logistical and administrative processes and systems, hands-on mentality, and willingness to take on ownership.
- Language: Excellent in English language spoken and written; French preferable.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills.
- Planning and Organizing: Strong in the areas of planning and organizing, and good knowledge of standard MS Office programs.
- Methodological Competence: Profound methodological competence in the areas of process and material flow analysis, respectively intralogistics.
- Project Experience: Experience in leading medium-complex to complex role-related projects.
- E-commerce Fulfillment: Sound understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes and technical requirements.
