Gynaecology Administrative Team Lead

The Gynaecology Administrative Team Lead is the primary point of contact for all administrative inquiries within the Department. The postholder will be responsible for supporting, leading, and developing a large administrative team, as well as managing non-cancer patient pathways.
Main Responsibilities- To provide leadership and line management to the Department's administrative team, including providing development opportunities and regular 1-1s, and leading by example to support the morale of the team.
- To be the main point of contact for the secretarial, administrative, and clerical services supporting patient activity in the Department.
- To monitor benign (non-cancer) patient pathways in accordance with Government Access Targets, Elective Recovery Targets, and the Trust's Patient Access Policy, providing support in the operational activity across the speciality on meeting patient access targets.
- To manage the Departmental rotas, including Admin, Theatres, Consultant, and On-Call.
- Acting as the administrative lead and point of contact for low-level PALS queries.
- Investigating all administrative aspects of formal complaints to be fed back to the Speciality Triumvirate.
