About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Data, Software, and DevOps team. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the development of our python scientific engines, ensuring seamless integration with our business use cases.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical direction for the engineering team
- Ensuring compliance with internal standards and practices
- Presenting progress and goals to stakeholders
- Contributing to the technical roadmap through architecture meetings and design documents
- Leading and coaching junior developers to achieve excellence
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- ~3 years of managing experience or project management
- ~5 years of experience as a software engineer or data scientist
- Solid knowledge in Python and a strong engineering background
- Experience in microservices architecture, Docker, and production development workflow
- Fluency in English and French
