Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Description

L-Acoustics SAS is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our expert team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing new firmware functionality for our range of devices, including amplified controllers, audio processors, and network devices.

Main Development Objectives

  • Real-time audio processing on dedicated DSPs (SHARC)
  • Device monitoring and control on RTOS enabled MCUs (Blackfin/Arm)
  • Deterministic audio transport over Ethernet (AVB/TSN)
  • Graphical user interface on embedded Linux platforms

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new firmware functionality
  • Analyze and improve overall system performance
  • Investigate and solve reported issues
  • Build documentation and presentations to promote new features

Requirements

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • Expert knowledge of the C programming language
  • 1+ years of experience in bare-metal programming of MCUs and peripherals
  • Experience with Ethernet based communication protocols and stacks
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Excellent analytical skills, perseverance, and attention to detail
  • Curious, eager to learn and quickly adapt to new requirements and technologies
  • Autonomous with strong sense of responsibility
