We are seeking a skilled Backend Game Developer to join our team at Just Slots. As a Backend Game Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side components of our online casino games.
Your main focus will be on creating and implementing the game logic, ensuring a seamless experience for our players. You will work closely with our front-end developers and game designers to implement game features and ensure integration between the client and server.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of casino game rules and regulations, as well as experience with NodeJs and TypeScript. You should be able to optimize game performance and scalability to handle high user loads and ensure a smooth gameplay experience.
As a Backend Game Developer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing and debugging of backend systems to identify and fix any issues or bugs. You will also stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the backend architecture and gameplay experience.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain server-side components for online casino games focusing on the game logic.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and game designers to implement game features and ensure seamless integration between the client and server.
- Optimize game performance and scalability to handle high user loads and ensure a smooth gameplay experience.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend systems to identify and fix any issues or bugs.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the backend architecture and gameplay experience.
- ~5+ years of professional experience in casino game development.
- ~ Experience with NodeJs and TypeScript.
- ~ Experience implementing and testing the maths behind the game.
- ~ Familiarity with casino game rules and regulations.
- ~ Understanding of casino game design principles.
- ~ Understanding of web technologies including RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and JSON.
- ~ Familiarity with cloud-based systems.
- ~ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in a distributed environment.
- ~ Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, game designers, and QA testers.
- ~ Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to evolving industry standards, and stay updated with the latest trends in casino game development.
- ~ Fluent in English.
