Android Embedded Developer

ThunderSoft Europe is seeking an experienced Android Embedded Developer to join our team in Paris. As an Onsite Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with clients to deliver top-notch solutions and occasionally travel to user sites for short business trips to troubleshoot and debug issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct stress tests on Android mobile phones and fusion products to ensure compatibility with local third-party applications.
  • Analyze fault logs reported by users, troubleshoot code based on log analysis, locate root causes, and provide solutions.
  • Assist the R&D department at headquarters by deploying problem analysis and locating tools, accumulating and building problem-locating capabilities.
  • Travel to user sites when necessary to diagnose and resolve user issues.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Java and C/C++ programming languages; knowledgeable about Linux operating system and Android SDK.
  • At least 1-5 years of experience with Linux drivers, with preference for those with development experience in HDMI, LCD, touch, camera, USB, BT/WiFi/GPS, sensor, and power drivers.
  • Familiar with Android driver debugging processes, systematic problem analysis, handling, and debugging; understanding of the Android platform, application, and framework development.
  • Proficient with Android debug tools such as ADB, Systrace, Serial toolset, and capable of analyzing Android logs.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; excellent Chinese communication skills would be a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Communication, Electronics, Information Technology, or related fields.
