Job Title: Storage Solutions Engineer at MSA

MSA is seeking a Storage Solutions Engineer to join their team. As part of the Technical & Operations Information Systems Operational Directorate, you will be responsible for integrating and supporting infrastructure solutions in our production Datacenters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration and Innovation: Participate in studies with infrastructure architects and propose innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.
  • Qualification and Documentation: Technically and functionally qualify our solutions and document critical aspects to ensure seamless integration.
  • Standards Management: Define and verify good management rules and security, IT, and quality standards to ensure compliance.
  • Diagnosis and Resolution: Analyze and resolve technical malfunctions, propose corrections and workarounds to minimize downtime.
  • Support and Advice: Assist and advise production teams on technical solutions to ensure smooth operations.

We utilize cutting-edge technologies for our projects, including:

  • Flash Storage: NetApp
  • Object Storage: Storage Grid
  • Networks: Brocade SAN Switch
  • Automation: Infrastructure as code (IaC, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Containerization: Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker
  • System and Virtualization: Linux, AIX, VMware
  • Security and Backup: Advanced practices and solutions

Profile Description

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Higher degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Storage Engineer

Technical skills:

Expertise in NetApp Ontap, NetApp Storage GridGood understanding of IT infrastructures and backup solutionsUnderstanding of security practices and virtualization
