About the Data Engineer Role
The Data Engineer role is part of a dedicated AI and Business Intelligence team, tasked with advancing artificial intelligence within the company. In this role, you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and identify high-value use cases.
- Select the most suitable technology solutions for rapid operational implementation.
- Evaluate feasibility and validate results.
- Support the implementation process.
- Develop AI or Machine Learning services and exploratory analyses.
- Improve company-wide LLM services.
- Deploy MLOps solutions (create, deploy, support).
- Collaborate with research organizations in coordination with the Technical General Management.
- Participate in and lead the Dassault Aviation AI community, promoting AI across the company.
Requirements
The role requires you to have:
- A general engineering background with a specialization in IT.
- Programming: Python development and utilization of AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of ML algorithms, Deep Learning, NLP, and LLM.
- Data management: relational databases (Oracle, Postgres), SQL.
- Data analysis: capability to analyze and interpret AI model results.
- A strong foundation in statistics and applied mathematics.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and continuous deployment.
