Senior IT Architect, Digital Transformation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Architect to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a Senior IT Architect, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve digital excellence by assessing and coaching their IT teams, defining IT strategies, and applying your technical expertise to drive business value.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to our clients' IT teams, helping them to develop and implement effective IT strategies.
- IT Strategy Development: Work closely with our clients to develop and implement IT strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Technical Consulting: Apply your technical expertise to help our clients solve complex technical challenges and drive business value.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Technical Expertise: 6+ years of experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery, or technology consulting.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrate leadership potential and the ability to transform the consulting industry, particularly in interaction with designers, engineers, and product owners.
- Thought Leadership: Progress thought leadership in deep tech and new methodologies or ways of working.
- Business Acumen: Understand common development methods and tools, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.
- Communication Skills: Articulate trade-offs and drive high-impact technology decisions on topics including IaaS/PaaS providers, container orchestration, service mesh, API gateways, and commercial vs. open source software.
- Education: University degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business administration.
