Manpower Toulouse Aero Ingénierie is seeking an Aeronautical Calender Mechanic (H/F) for its client, a leading player in the aerospace industry.

The Aeronautical Calender Mechanic is responsible for receiving and assembling parts that make up an aircraft: engines, turbines, fuselage, wings, nacelles. Following the plan and technical instructions, the technician analyzes the composition of the elements (gears, bearings, springs) and their mode of fixation (screws, rivets or welding). After verifying the conformity of the provided parts and correcting their minor defects, the Aeronautical Calender Mechanic performs the machining operations (drilling, milling) to prepare the connection of the parts. He then proceeds to their assembly and adjustment before checking their proper functioning by tests.

The Aeronautical Calender Mechanic works mainly in a workshop or on site in a hangar for aircraft assembly, but may be required to travel, including abroad, for maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify the elements that make up the assembly and their mode of fixation.
  • Adjust and correct the parts.
  • Perform the operations of fixing the parts (drilling, tapping, milling, reaming).
  • Position and assemble the parts.
  • Ensure the tightness and protection of the parts.
  • Perform the metalization.
  • Perform the tests to check the functioning.
  • Record the data for traceability.

Required Qualifications:

  • CAP Aeronautics, option structure.
  • CAP Mechanic aircraft (MCA).
  • Bac Pro Aeronautics, option structure.
  • Bac Pro Aeronautics, option mechanic system aircraft.
