We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the Nalco Water Division. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing water treatment equipment projects for our industrial customers, with a focus on reuse/recycle projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze customer requests to clarify their needs and define solutions for water pretreatment, post-treatment, and reuse/recycling.
- Participate in field pilot-tests at customer sites as needed.
- Support the Sales Teams in charge of customer accounts and act as a partner and provider of reliable and added-value solutions.
- Actively participate in technical, commercial, and contractual negotiations until the customer's purchase order is received.
- Manage project execution from order processing to installation start-up and hand-over to the customer, including technical file compilation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including Sales Teams, customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal players, and act as a leader on projects.
- Participate in service development by fostering tool development and margin optimization.
- Track project time and costs using dashboards that you will maintain up to date.
- Engineering education in the field of water treatment, chemistry, mechanical/hydraulics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in reuse/recycle/wastewater projects.
- Experience and understanding of general industrial processes and those connected with water.
- Experienced in water reuse/recycle and wastewater treatment.
- Experienced in water treatment installations.
- Experienced in water pretreatment.
- Competent in project management.
- Good communication skills with all kinds of contacts, from field to plant manager.
- Customer-oriented, open-minded, willing to learn, and to progress.
- Good knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering, instruments, and automation.
- AutoCAD & Visio knowledge is an added advantage.
- Office Pack literacy compulsory.
- Fluent French and English (oral and written) compulsory.
- Valid driver's license for driving in France/Europe compulsory.
- Full-time, permanent contract.
- Training to our services, equipment, and products.
