Database Architect

ADP is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our Global Database team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our global database architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Oracle database servers in EMEA, including incident, change, migration, and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and infrastructure engineers to deliver high-quality implementations and support.
- Contribute to the development of installation, patching, and migration processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with a strong background in Oracle Applications system administration and database administration.
- Extensive experience with Oracle, including development, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex business logic.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
- Experience with tuning and troubleshooting large-scale Oracle databases.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
