As a Procurement Strategist for Salomon, you will play a key role in optimizing our procurement strategy for the Travel and Catering categories. With a focus on indirect purchasing, you will have the opportunity to evolve this function and add value to support Salomon's growth objectives.
Your primary objective will be to define and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's goals. This involves analyzing external markets, stakeholders, and costs to propose and direct internal services toward new solutions.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining the procurement strategy for your market(s)
- Developing your knowledge of external markets, stakeholders, and costs
- Selecting suppliers within your scope
- Negotiating with external and internal stakeholders
- Assessing supplier risks
- Addressing operational and complex disputes with suppliers
- Collaborating on deploying continuous improvement processes with our suppliers
- Leading the setup and framing meetings for your market areas
- Facilitating the periodic review of contracts and associated key indicators

Qualifications
Essential Knowledge:
- Bac + degree, ideally with a specialization in procurement
- Minimum of years of experience in purchasing within an international company
- Negotiation techniques, legal knowledge, and mastery of the supply chain and procurement
- Technical expertise in your procurement area is desired
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous successful experience in Facility Management and Travel categories

- Leadership: Ability to create, coordinate, and align different stakeholders to achieve objectives
- Strategy: Ability to analyze issues and develop new approaches
- Building Professional Relationships: Ability to work with very different communities

Desired Qualifications:
- Languages: English B, French: fluent
- IT: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Concur, Ariba, SAP (a plus)
