Job Function

In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Network Officer, you will be tasked with ensuring that projects are established, executed, and concluded in accordance with standard company governance.

Our goal is to be recognized for a world-class networks and engineering function, necessitating the development of best-in-class processes, systems, and reporting. You will have the freedom to present innovative ideas that empower our networks and engineering organization to surpass their objectives and significantly enhance business and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The following delineates the primary areas of responsibility. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary to support the business.

  • Adhere to all company Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Quality, Health and Safety, Environment, and Information Security.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs, spanning across UK and global entities, aimed at delivering customer-centric initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies, influencing planning and decision-making through insights and risk management.
  • Manage risks and issues related to portfolio deliveries, both internal and external, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Ensure all programs and projects within the portfolio are delivered on Time, within Budget, and to Quality standards while realizing agreed benefits.
  • Maintain effective Change, Escalation, Risk, and Issue management processes at all times.
  • Define skill requirements for the portfolio and build a capable team to deliver it.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships for stakeholders involved in projects, providing performance feedback.
  • Provide accurate and timely communication and reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with portfolio governance and assurance, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Manage both internal and external suppliers to ensure successful program and project delivery, including producing supplier performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal TXO Group colleagues, customer contacts, and key suppliers, with occasional travel required.
  • Attend meetings both in person and via Microsoft Teams as necessary.
  • Ensure the sales team maintains accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Candidate Profile
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment and do not rely on structure or hierarchy to achieve results.
  • Possess a challenger mindset, consistently seeking to drive improvement.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent in a technical discipline: MSP; PRINCE 2 / APM / PMI; ITIL foundation.
  • Demonstrate diligent stakeholder management to support our services and solutions.
  • Be a strategic thinker with a client-focused approach, possessing strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Have managerial experience, capable of leading and directing a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety, with a low or zero tolerance for non-compliance.
  • Exhibit strong PC skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, planning tools (Microsoft Project), and database usage in a networked environment.
