Cloud Software Engineer for SAP Cloud ALM

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at SAP, working on the development of groundbreaking applications and services on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming, with a desire to specialize in SAP Cloud ALM's Java microservices architecture. Additionally, they should possess knowledge in front-end SAPUI5 framework and proficiency in front-end programming languages (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is also highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality cloud-based solutions using SAP BTP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of SAP Cloud ALM
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in the field of cloud computing
- Strong understanding of Java, including its ecosystem and best practices
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
