About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Technician to join our team in a Specialist Machining position. This role will involve providing technical leadership and governance in the field of Specialist Machining, ensuring that bespoke equipment remains at the forefront of technical delivery and market-leading capability.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and experienced technician with a minimum of 10 years' experience in similar or transferable roles. A recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred, but not essential. We also consider applicants with time-served apprenticeships or relevant experience.

The Ideal Candidate

You should have expertise in operating general and bespoke machining equipment, cross-fleet tube plugging equipment, and valve seat replacement equipment. You will be responsible for project managing all aspects of our Specialist Machining contracts, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to the Specialist Machining department, comprising various skilled technicians.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and experience, we offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on your background and qualifications.
