About the PositionWe are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team based in Paris, France. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing process engineering activities on various projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, basic design, front-end engineering design (FEED), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage process engineering activities on various projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, basic design, FEED, EPC, and other related tasks.
- Manage and lead a team of process engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement process design solutions, including process simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, P&IDs, specifications, design philosophies, control and safety philosophies/logics, technical reports, and other related documents.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in safety, environment, and operation reviews (HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, and ENVID) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes, and participate in R&D activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering and process design, preferably in the energy, chemicals, or petrochemicals sectors.
- Proven experience in leading and managing process engineering teams, and developing process design solutions.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation tools, including HYSYS, UniSim, PRO II, ProSim, Pipenet, and Flarenet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English, with a basic knowledge of French or willingness to learn.
