ROLE OVERVIEW:

Contributes to the development of Women's RTW Pre-Collections regarding product assortment, pricing, and strategic direction.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

COLLECTION BRIEF

  • Engages in the formulation of the collection brief by analyzing brand strength, sales performance, and market competition.
  • Tracks retail performance across categories and regions to effectively guide product briefings for the design team.
  • Maintains active communication with the Central Sales Merchandising team to collect qualitative insights from various markets.
  • Compiles end-of-showroom reports on Retail & Wholesale sales (Sell In) and seasonal summaries (Sell Out Retail) to inform the product brief for future collections.

COLLECTION MONITORING

  • Collaborates closely with Development to ensure the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system is updated in accordance with the range plan.
  • Oversees collection development tracking tools to assist senior management in product follow-up.

PRICING STRATEGY

  • Participates in establishing pricing strategies aligned with the desired market positioning and target profit margins.

PRE-BUY PROCESS

  • Aids in the pre-buy activities as part of the seasonal demand forecasting.

SALES CAMPAIGN

  • Develops buying materials leading up to showrooms (line sheets, collection outlines, exit lists).
  • Assists in the preparation of commercial presentations for product training and E-commerce photography.
  • Supports the creation of training resources for Retail and Wholesale teams during showroom sessions.
  • Keeps Merchandising documentation current throughout the buying campaign.

TRAINING INITIATIVES

  • Delivers content and supports training initiatives for Retail regions to ensure effective product and collection introductions in stores.

REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to the Merchandising Manager for WRTW.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Proficient in Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English and French is essential; Spanish or Italian is a plus.
  • Possesses strong analytical capabilities and a keen sense of fashion.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and collaborative skills.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent contract.
