Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Director of Consolidation and Accounting Operations to join our Finance team at the Paris headquarters. Reporting to the Group CFO, this role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of financial processes.
Responsibilities- Accounting: Ensure the quality of monthly accounting and the production of annual statutory financial statements for all Group entities within legal deadlines.
- Consolidation: Lead the preparation of the Group's consolidated accounts, transitioning from French accounting standards to IFRS, and manage relationships with local and central auditors.
- Taxation: Ensure the Group's compliance with various tax regulations in the countries where the Group operates. Document tax positions and coordinate with advisors.
- Processes: Harmonize and optimize processes within different group entities and support the integration of new entities or countries.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a business school.
- 10 years of experience in financial roles with excellent command of financial processes, strong technical skills in accounting and consolidation.
- Experience in both audit firms and corporate settings.
- Proficiency in IFRS standards.
- Ability to work on complex, cross-functional projects, stay updated with technical developments, and be hands-on with regular accounting and tax operations.
- Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and agile approach necessary for success in this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external service providers.
