Job Description

Believe is a leading digital music company that aims to develop local artists and labels in the digital ecosystem. We are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance to join our Platform Engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all initiatives aimed at improving the processes, methodologies, and tools/stacks around testing and quality of Believe products. This includes designing and implementing strategies and processes to optimize our testing frameworks, reduce costs, enhance service quality, and help SREs and development teams to reach a high level of maturity on quality assurance topics.

The Head of Quality Assurance will also be responsible for all the roadmaps and budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) follow-up and reporting to the Tech CODIR level. This includes proposing organization and staffing plans to achieve QA roadmap and ambitions, managing OPEX and CAPEX budget for the QA department, and contributing to the development and implementation of continuous improvement criteria and measurements.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience managing a quality assurance team in a digital and fast-growing company, with experience in several testing and automation stacks and tools. They will also have basic knowledge of several languages like PHP, Java, Python, JS, Typescript, and Kotlin, and fluency in Cloud software and systems.

Cultivating a quality culture, disseminating best practices to teams, and structuring quality activities with key performance indicators (KPIs) based on results, defect prevention techniques, test standards, and reports are essential skills for this role.
