Position Overview:We are in search of a Pricing Engineer specialized in Construction to become a vital part of our client's innovative team. This essential position focuses on overseeing both the financial and technical dimensions of projects, guaranteeing the precision and competitiveness of the proposals submitted.
- Evaluate tender documents, technical specifications, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Perform site assessments and geotechnical evaluations to estimate the volume of materials needed.
- Create comprehensive budgets, cost projections, and competitive proposals, taking into account labor, equipment, and material needs.
- Work closely with design and execution teams to enhance work methodologies and reduce expenses.
- Track project finances, assess discrepancies between forecasts and actual expenditures, and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
- Engage in coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure a mutual understanding of project expectations.
- Identify opportunities for added value and recommend alternative strategies to improve project efficiency and profitability.
Essential skills include:
- A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in cost estimation, ideally within the excavation industry.
- Proficiency in estimation and modeling software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Excel).
- Capability to interpret plans and technical specifications accurately.
- Strong analytical abilities and a methodical approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Capacity to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
