As a Clinical Contract Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing specific clinical contract activities, providing contract process guidance, conducting contract negotiations, and facilitating compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Negotiations: Communicate and negotiate contracts with clinical research sites, including communicating sponsors' positions on various contract issues, identifying relationship-building opportunities, and securing site contracts.
- Process Improvement and Training: Develop and implement training for new Contract Specialists and customers, create and maintain contract templates, process documentation, and contract-specific documentation.
- Contract Process Improvements: Identify and implement improvements to the contracting processes, standardize and streamline contract activities, and use metrics to drive improvement throughout the entire contracting process.
- 2-3 years of experience negotiating contracts within CRO/pharma companies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Thorough understanding of GDPR and other privacy regulations.
- Experience negotiating privacy clauses with clinical research sites.
- Experience working with global business partners and a global team.
