Director of Software Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to join our team at IC Resources. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and coordination of our product teams, defining and executing the product roadmap, and expanding, training, and developing team employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of software products, ensuring they meet the required quality and functionality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and employee growth.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software engineering leadership, with a strong track record of success in similar roles.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a deep understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
  • Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
