In this position, you will serve as the main technical liaison for university clients. Your role involves empowering these institutions to address their technical and business obstacles while fostering enduring partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategies: Utilize data-driven assessments to formulate a strategy aimed at engaging universities and enhancing their utilization of tools in engineering, science, and business disciplines. Collaborate with your account team to evaluate progress and refine your approach.
  2. Collaborate with university clients: You will be actively involved on campus, meeting with clients to understand their needs and support the integration of our tools in their educational and research endeavors. Some discussions will include key decision-makers who value your insights and connections across other institutions.
  3. Create a roadmap for success: Whether in coursework, research, or networking initiatives, your mission is to ensure our clients achieve success by delivering sustainable and demonstrable value. It is your responsibility to craft a vision that facilitates this outcome.
  4. Build advocates: Through your interactions with clients, you will establish professional relationships with influential faculty and researchers, nurturing them to become advocates for MathWorks within their institutions and the broader educational and research communities. In turn, you will represent the interests of these clients and influence the future direction of MathWorks offerings.
  5. Promote collaboration: Resourcefulness is essential in this role. We will support your development to ensure you effectively engage with other MathWorks personnel and external stakeholders to assist in key initiatives and specialized product areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A relevant MS or PhD in Engineering or Applied Science
  • Demonstrated experience with MATLAB & Simulink
  • Experience in creating laboratory or course materials is advantageous
  • Background in a customer-facing technical or marketing role is beneficial
  • Proficiency in French and strong English language skills (both written and spoken) are essential
  • A bachelor's degree with 6 years of professional experience (or a master's degree with 3 years of experience, or a PhD, or equivalent experience) is required.
