About the Role:
AEROPORTS DE PARIS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team in Paris. As a key member of the Accounting Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the group's development projects, analyzing financial contracts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Support the group's development projects, including acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures, by analyzing financial contracts and anticipating their impacts on operations.
- Accounting Guidance: Provide accounting guidance to French and international entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Draft explanatory notes on accounting treatments in French and English, and update financial statement disclosures on accounting principles and methods.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for financial and legal teams on accounting principles and best practices.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Implement new accounting standards, maintain and update the Group Accounting Manual, and stay updated on accounting news and regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience in IFRS with a major audit firm or corporate accounting department.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, pedagogical abilities, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English.
- Location: Position based in Paris-Orly, eligible for remote work.
