We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our EssilorLuxottica Global Lens Innovation team. As a key member of our New Product Projects Department Europe, you will be responsible for leading innovation projects in the field of new ophthalmic products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary project team through the phases of feasibility, development, and market launch, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
- Implement the Stage Gate Process and adapt project management methods to bring new products to market.
- Focus on value creation, product quality, and commercial launch planning.
- Manage resources and schedules, identify and communicate risks and scope changes, and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Produce documentation dictated by the stage gate process and best project management practices.
- Communicate project progress to top management and governance committees.
- Participate in the department's internal continuous improvement projects.
- Lead Strategic Projects for the EssilorLuxottica Group, managing a portfolio of projects with high business stakes.
- Engineering or business school graduate with 10 years of project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments, influence, convince, and obtain buy-in from teams and stakeholders.
- Autonomous, organized, proactive, results-oriented, and able to coordinate multiple departments and steer projects.
- Strong understanding of operations and the needs of the optical industry business.
- Knowledge of the Stage Gate Process and MS project and Microsoft 365 tools is an asset.
- Fluency in English is essential.
