About Technip Energies Lyon:
Within the Technip Energies universe, the Lyon center is referenced as the group's expertise center in the field of polyolefins. Specialized in petrochemistry, chemistry, green chemistry, and life sciences, it accompanies the development of innovative technologies in areas such as biotechnology or synthetic products and bio-sourced hydrocarbons. You will understand that this center of over 500 people responds to a diversity of engineering project sizes (over €400 million for some projects) with a positioning on projects with very advanced design and technically rich for our engineers.
About the Job:
In the context of our development, we are looking for our next Specialist in Control and Command Systems. Attached to the Instrumentation department of the Lyon operational center, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control and command systems and safety systems.
Your main project missions are:
- Define control-command and safety process strategies (system architecture, operating philosophy, safety requirement definition),
- Write design and procurement specifications for systems,
- Write functional analyses, safety matrices, and logical diagrams,
- Participate in HAZOP reviews, prepare SIFs, perform SIL calculations,
- Specify cybersecurity requirements for implemented systems,
- Write system requisitions,
- Evaluate and recommend technical supplier offers,
- Follow up on the supplier (documentation, planning, design, organization),
- Plan, organize, and participate in system FATs,
- Perform on-site commissioning missions.
You will be trained and supported in these various activities.
The plus: You will have the opportunity to participate in all project phases from design to on-site commissioning, including engineering realization studies and reception tests.
About You:
- You are an engineer (BTS CIRA, license, or master's degree in IMM or equivalent),
- You are a beginner or have a first experience in control-command engineering, engineering offices, or programming of control-command systems,
- Your strengths: adaptability, practical sense, analytical capacity, and relational qualities,
- You have a good command of English,
- You are mobile for short-term travel.
