Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the programming activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Analyze the technical, artistic, and functional needs of the game to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and prototype game systems, including gameplay, UI, network, and 3C components.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop and implement game features.
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain various systems and tools necessary for production.
  • Maintain clear, robust, and scalable code.
  • Create detailed documentation throughout production.
  • Participate in the transition of internal tools from Unity to UE5.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Manage test phases and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and manage project schedules and deadlines.
  • Design and architect new products and development services.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of C++ and Unreal Engine.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in online development and video game physics.
  • Experience shipping a game under Unreal Engine.
