Michelin, a global leader in the tire industry, is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join its team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments for employees, while also maintaining compliance with all regulatory laws and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee payroll operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Guarantee compliance with all regulatory laws and requirements, as well as company quality and control guidelines.
- Represent Michelin in payroll matters with local and national governmental agencies.
- Monitor and implement new procedures and processes to support changing business needs and improve productivity.
- Coach and develop the payroll support team to drive team performance.
- Communicate changes in payroll to all employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Review and amend payroll policies and procedures as needed.
- Provide analysis of employee-related costs and information to management.
- Support the finance team with accounting and salary journal entries, and allocate provisions for payroll expenses.
- Ensure internal controls are in place to ensure Michelin compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Statistics, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in payroll management and compensation and benefits administration.
- Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS packages, including advanced Excel.
- Experience in taxation is a definite advantage.
