Job Summary
The CHU de Bordeaux is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing medical treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care and support to patients, including assistance with daily activities, medication management, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that meet individual needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
